All You Need to Know...

When and Where to Arrive

You'll find the entrance to the venue on Hinksden Road TN17 4BA. Look out for the wooden sign with our initials on! If driving, you'll enter the gate and park in the first meadow area you come to. The best way to find the exact location is going to what3words.com and typing in ///tipping.chart.bedspread. Then select "Navigate" and choose Google Maps, or whichever app you normally use to get around.

Dress Code

The dress code is whatever makes you feel as comfortable and as fabulous as you like for a woodland setting! (Phil says this isn't specific enough - his suggestion is 'Summer Wedding')... 2024 is set to be the hottest year on record. It's also sod's law that it will chuck it down with rain on the day! Nearer to the time we'll be checking the weather forecast and if it looks like it's going to rain we'd be grateful if you would bring a clear umbrella with you, like this one, from any of the major retailers.

Ladies will be most comfortable in block heels, wedges or sandals. If you plan to wear stilettos, we'd recommend bringing stiletto protectors.

As we'll hopefully be outside a lot of the time, sunglasses and suncream wouldn't be a bad shout. A shawl or jacket for the evening would also be a good idea.

Ties not necessary!

Extra Information

Will I need to bring cash?

No money needed from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. All food and drinks are on us through the day and evening!

What facilities will be there?

Toilets will be on site and there will be a baby changing area for family members bringing their little ones. There is unlikely to be phone charging facilities so we recommend bringing a power bank and cable with you. Our wedding will be a small intimate event - even the 'staff' are family and friends!

Our Wishlist

We aren't expecting presents, however, if you'd like to make a donation to our honeymoon fund we'd appreciate it very much.

Travel & Accommodation

Accommodation best bets are booking.com and airbnb.com. We recommend booking a local taxi to pick you up at the end of the evening if you're staying locally. Let the taxi company know its the Paper Mill Wedding Venue on Hinksden Road TN17 4BA.

We've heard that some couples are having trouble booking taxis (we also had the same problem). We recommend joining forces with other couples and booking a larger car if poss. We've booked with Benenden Cars who can be contacted on Whatsapp via 01580 292006 (their business Whatsapp account).

We're so chuffed you're coming, and can't wait to celebrate with you!!

Love Ellen & Phil xxx
